Canon EOS 6D - very light and compact full-frame DSLR

The company officially introduced a new model to its line of digital SLR Canon EOS 6D fotoapparatov.Kamera applies to full-frame mid-range model and is equipped with a 20.2-megapixel CMOS-sensor and DIGIC 5 + processor, built-in Wi-Fi and GPS. The camera is equipped with an 11-point autofocus, 63-zone iFCL rangefinder, and also has the ability to record Full HD video. Among Canon felt that giving a moderately expensive full-frame camera model features EOS 5D Mark II will contribute to its commercial success. Camera Canon EOS 6D is positioned as a solution for advanced amateurs and professionals, allowing you to get results comparable in quality to the full-length professional-level DSLRs. The resource model is 100 000 shots, and the maximum download speed of shots - 4.5 per second. ISO can range from 100 to 25,600, which should help to get high quality images in low light conditions. 3-inch screen with VGA-resolution supports Live View, with 100% vision frame. camera will be available in December 2012. Its price without lens is $ 2099, and with the lens Canon EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM for $ 800 more.

Fujifilm XF1: compact camera in retro design

Fujifilm has introduced a new digital compact camera in retro style. The model is called Fujifilm XF1, it is equipped with 2/3-inch EXR CMOS sensor with a resolution of 12 megapixels and a wide-angle f/1.8 FUJINON lens with 4x optical zoom lens with manual adjustment (25-100 mm in 35 mm equivalent). Camera Fujifilm XF1 built on a processor EXR, which, according to the company, provides high-quality capture and handling at high speed.

Novelty is also equipped with 3-inch 460 000 pixels with glass, protected from scratches. In addition to photos, the new camera can also receive video at 1080p pixels at 30 frames per second. Another important feature is the support of the optical image stabilization, and the level of sensitivity in the range ISO 100 - 12 800. In macro mode, the camera can shoot at a distance of 3 cm in all this, perhaps the main difference between Fujifilm XF1 is a retro design with leatherette trim in red, black or brown. Canon announces two new connected products – the PowerShot S110 and SELPHY CP900. The PowerShot S110 is the latest model in Canon's celebrated PowerShot S-series, which is renowned for redefining the market for high-performance and truly pocketable expert cameras. Canon unveils the PowerShot G15 and PowerShot SX50 HS – two new innovative compact cameras that demonstrate Canon’s expertise in next-generation lens design. The PowerShot G15 features the brightest lens in a PowerShot G-series model to date, with a new f/1.8-2.8, 5x zoom lens, providing photographers with an extra-wide aperture throughout the camera’s entire focal range. The PowerShot SX50 HS is the world’s first 50x optical zoom1 compact stills camera, offering ground-breaking power alongside advanced manual control and RAW format support.

Designed for advanced users looking for premium quality, class-leading performance and compact bodies, both PowerShot models feature Canon’s renowned imaging technologies, delivering superior quality stills and Full HD movies. For photographers who want to capture detail in distant subjects, the PowerShot SX50 HS features Canon’s most powerful optical zoom in a compact camera to date. Enhanced Zoom Framing Assist on the PowerShot SX50 HS now includes new Seek and Lock functions, which are designed to help photographers locate and lock-on to subjects at the telephoto end of the lens. Users can press a dedicated Seek button located on the lens barrel, which makes the lens zoom out to relocate subjects. Once the subject is located users can release the button, with the lens automatically extending back to its telephoto focal length. Additionally, a Lock button can also be used to engage a powerful optical IS mode that holds the subject in the frame until the shot is taken.

Pin-sharp clarity with optical Image Stabilizer
Canon’s industry-leading optical Image Stabilizer technology counters camera shake in both models, suppressing blur in stills and unsteady movie footage. 4-stop (PowerShot G15) and 4.5-stop (PowerShot SX50 HS) optical Image Stabilizers ensure that shots are sharp, crisp and detailed when shooting at telephoto focal lengths or in low light. Additionally, Intelligent IS automatically detects the shooting situation and applies the most suitable Image Stabilizer mode from seven variables. The PowerShot SX50 HS also features a new and advanced Dynamic IS mode that reduces the rolling motion style camera shake that typically occurs when movies are recorded whilst walking or moving.

Premium image quality and speed
Both models feature Canon’s HS System – a combination of a high-sensitivity 12.1 Megapixel CMOS sensor and powerful DIGIC 5 image processing. The PowerShot G15 features a new Canon 1/1.7-type high-sensitivity CMOS sensor that offers even greater light gathering abilities than its predecessor, resulting in outstanding flexibility during low light shooting. High ISO shooting at speeds up to ISO 12,8003 allows the use of fast shutter speeds and faster continuous shooting, even in poor light conditions. Powerful DIGIC 5 processing in each model is also optimised to work seamlessly with the high resolution sensors, keeping image noise to a minimum in all lighting conditions.

Improved Auto Focus (AF) systems on both models make it easy for users to capture sharply-focused stills. Creative flexibility with manual control and auto modes
Offering similar levels of manual control to those found on Canon EOS DSLRs, both cameras allow photographers to adjust settings such as aperture, shutter speed, white balance and ISO sensitivity. RAW in both models now includes multi-aspect support, allowing photographers to explore different aspect ratios in post-production.

A range of automatic shooting features also ensure users get the best shot. Smart Auto utilises advanced scene detection technology and selects the most appropriate setting from 58 different variables, while Face ID cleverly recognises pre-registered faces of friends or family and adjusts settings accordingly to ensure they always look their best. Multi-Area White Balance automatically adjusts colour tones in shots captured indoors with different light sources, so shots look more natural.

FUJIFILM North America Corporation announced a new, distinctive premium digital camera that blends advanced technology with an unforgettable design to its flagship X-Series line, the FUJIFILM XF1. With its perfectly matched lens and sensor, careful attention to detail on appearance and design, and accessible technology, the XF1 extends the X-Series range to a much wider audience.

The FUJIFILM XF1 combines an amazingly fast and newly developed FUJINON F1.8 wide angle lens with 4x manual zoom with a large 2/3-inch 12 Megapixel EXR CMOS sensor that delivers extraordinary image quality, all in a remarkable design that is unlike any other camera.

The compact FUJIFILM XF1 will be available in three luxurious designs: a dimpled synthetic black leather, a smooth synthetic tan leather and an elegant synthetic red leather. Each new XF1 will begin shipping in October 2012.

First class lens for razor-sharp results

The FUJIFILM XF1 features a newly-developed, high-definition FUJINON 25mm wide angle F1.8 lens (25mm-100mm) with 4x manual zoom lens that consists of 7 glass lens elements in 6 groups, including 4 aspherical glass lens elements and 3 extra-low dispersion lens elements. The FUJINON lens as has new HT-EBC (High-Transmittance EBC) coating on all lens surfaces that dramatically reduces flare for crystal clear images, as well as optical image stabilization to eliminate camera shake without compromising resolution around the edges of the image.

The XF1 also incorporates Optical Image Stabilization, which shifts one group of four elements to minimize camera shake without compromising resolution around the edges of the image, a common problem with conventional stabilization systems. With this extraordinary lens, the XF1 can shoot in low light without boosting sensitivity, keeping noise to a minimum, by using high shutter speeds to prevent camera shake and stop subject motion - all without the need for flash.

The XF1 is also capable of Macro photography at ranges as close as 3 cm, and can capture images with a beautiful "Bokeh" depth of field effect (for crisp subjects set against out-of-focus backgrounds) by taking advantage of the XF1's fast lens and six diaphragm blades.

Fast AF in dark scenes with EXR processor

With its EXR CMOS sensor and EXR processor, the FUJIFILM XF1 offers fast Auto Focus no matter what you are shooting, even in dark settings. The speedy read time of the CMOS sensor, coupled with the high-speed EXR processor, accelerates all operations; quick response, start-up in just 0.55 seconds, focus acquisition in as little as 0.16 seconds, and a minimum shot-to-shot time of just 0.8 seconds. Additionally, the EXR processor offers high-speed processing for hassle-free HD movie recording and burst-mode photography.

Manual feel with all-new GUI

The FUJIFILM XF1 has an all new on-screen menu dial that allows users to gain full control of the camera's extensive manual shooting controls. The on-screen menu dial is fully customizable, and allows for quick setting adjustments and selections. The programmable E-Fn button can be assigned up to six functions, allowing for smooth manual control via the bright, 3.0-inch (460k dot premium clear) LCD monitor. The XF1 also features a programmable function button for fast one-click setting access.

Newly developed hardware design

The FUJIFILM XF1's new hardware design introduces a fresh way to carry, turn on and use the travel-ready digital camera. There are three modes for users to choose from when using the XF1:

-- "Travel Mode" for a compact fit with the lens retracted and camera fully powered down

-- "Standby Mode" with lens extended but in power saving mode for quick startups

-- "Shooting Mode" for when you are actively photographing
